Five Arizona cities are some of the fastest growing in the nation according to the U.S. Census Bureau. From July 2020 to July 2021, the metro Phoenix cities of Queen Creek, Buckeye, Goodyear, and nearby Casa Grande and Maricopa were among the top 15 U.S. cities with populations of 50,000 or more with the highest growth rates. And Arizona has more cities in the top 15 of the fastest growing metropolitan areas than any other state.
