Bathroom features are generally second to kitchen amenities in importance – especially those in the master bathroom. Obviously bathrooms with sufficient size are essential, but what does National Association of Home Builders survey say are the most desirable features in the primary bath? The top four are: 1. linen closet (maybe this is a regional thing as this is a new one to me here in Arizona); 2. shower stall and separate tub; 3. double vanity; 4. private toilet compartment. The shower and tub setup in the primary bath ranked as the most “essential” feature, with 36% of buyers stating they would be unlikely to purchase a home without it.
