In Phoenix Best U.S. City for Remote Workers, I reported that metro Phoenix was rated the best overall in the U.S. for working at home. WhistleOut has also analyzed working at home, and has rated Scottsdale a millennial remote worker’s paradise. Scottsdale had a score of 81.3 out of 100, which was significantly higher than runner up Kansas City’s score of 55.2. Cost of living was a key factor in the ranking, with higher costs working against a city. Also important was fast internet with Scottsdale having an average download speeds of 117 Mbps. Scottsdale isn’t the only metro Phoenix city rated great for remote Millennials – Chandler was ranked No. 9.
