Like higher costs, fees and taxes? If not, come to Arizona. Arizona doesn’t impose costs on snowbirds upon sale of a home the way Florida does. Full time Florida resident property tax bills can’t rise more than 3% annually, while snowbird taxes can go up to 10%. Plus every year, non-residents of Florida have to pay for a drivers license. Arizona has neither of those laws, and also has greatly lower property insurance rates, as Florida homes face natural disasters (hurricanes, floods, sinkholes) unknown in Arizona. So buy here and you will keep more of your hard earned money.
