There are several ways to show a home that is listed for sale “virtually”. Two are a virtual open house and a virtual tour. Here are the differences between them: Virtual Open House. A virtual open house is a live scheduled event at a designated time where an agent is physically present at the listing and gives a tour of the property using Zoom or other meeting software. The open house audience can view the live stream and can interact with the agent and ask questions. Typically the virtual open house is set up by an invite via Facebook or other social media; Virtual Tour. A virtual tour is a virtual walk-through of the property via a slide show or other pre-recorded interactive media rather than being a scheduled live event. The virtual tour can be accessed by a buyer through a seller’s Multiple Listing Service listing. Next: More Showing Options.
