Agents only need to attend 90 hours of real estate school, and are not required to have any education, school or diploma of any kind (not even elementary school!), or any supervised sales or transaction experience. Nor are they required to post a bond or provide other financial assurance.
My credentials exceed all of the above, as I have a four year University degree, a three year post-graduate Doctor of Law degree, took 180 hours of real estate school, and have been a brokerage owner and designated broker since 1995.
